Share (thousandths)
The share, expressed in thousandths, is the portion of a building's common parts attached to each co-ownership unit.
It is set in the co-ownership's founding deed, based mainly on the unit's size and position. It is used to split common charges and carries weight in general meeting votes.
A unit with a cellar and a garage holds more thousandths than a studio on its own: its share of the charges and its weight in decisions are larger.
