Rent adjustment
A rent adjustment is a revision of the rent during the lease, which Luxembourg law limits in frequency and amount.
The rent may only be adjusted at regular intervals set by law, and always within the legal cap. The request is made in writing; in case of disagreement, the rent commission can be asked to decide.
An automatic indexation clause cannot get around these rules: it is best to know the framework before signing.
