Purchase offer
A purchase offer is the written proposal in which a buyer tells the seller the price they are willing to pay for a property, and on what conditions.
Once accepted, it can already bind both parties: under Luxembourg law, a sale is concluded as soon as there is agreement on the property and the price. It is therefore essential to state your conditions in it, such as obtaining a loan, and a validity period.
The offer is then carried over into the sale agreement and the notarial deed. If in doubt, have it checked before signing.
