Agency commission
The agency commission is the estate agent's fee when a sale or a letting succeeds thanks to their work.
For a sale, it is set in the mandate, usually as a percentage of the price, and is only due when the deed is signed. For a letting, the law now regulates how it is split between landlord and tenant.
VAT is added to it. The amount and who pays it must always be stated clearly before any commitment.
